About Us

In 1996, Kim G. underwent routine foot surgery. The procedure itself was uneventful, but her recovery took an unexpected and extraordinary turn. For reasons she couldn’t explain, Kim began to see intricate, mesmerizing designs everywhere she looked. The visions were so vivid and compelling that she felt an overwhelming need to bring them to life.

She asked her husband to take her to a craft store, hoping to find the right medium to express what she was seeing. Wandering the aisles, she came across a simple chipwood box, unadorned but full of possibility. She paired it with watercolor markers and metallic paints in gold, silver, and bronze. With these, she created her very first piece of art.

When her husband saw the finished design, he remarked, “That looks like a Mandala.” Kim, unfamiliar with the term, replied, “What’s that?” She had never heard of Mandalas before that moment.

Mandalas have ancient roots, originating in India over 2,000 years ago within Hindu and Buddhist traditions. They symbolized the universe, wholeness, and spiritual balance, and were used by monks as tools for meditation and enlightenment. As Buddhism spread along the Silk Road, so too did the art and practice of creating mandalas—eventually becoming both a sacred tradition and a meditative art form embraced around the world.

What began as a spark of inspiration during Kim’s recovery blossomed into a lifelong artistic journey. At 37, a first-time artist, she poured her visions into her creations. Though her designs rested quietly for over a decade, they now live again—transformed onto ceramic tiles. Each tile carries the peace, beauty, and balance that first inspired her, ready to enrich any space. Display one as a statement piece, or combine several to create a harmonious atmosphere uniquely your own.
